Atreyam(Leo) Sharma has been committed over the last 10 years to bringing coding, robotics, and AI to the younger generation. Currently, at 22 years old, Atreyam stands for simplifying the reach of science to the youth through innovative initiatives. Additionally, he believes the world is behind in implementing the technological advances already made while spending billions on far more daring goals. He sees that this may bring an imbalance in scientific progress and may result in significant monetary loss. He wants to use his perspective as an iGen, passionate about STEM, to bring a change in thinking. This will create a world more suited to the aspirations of the future generation. Atreyam has been addressing leading technology events globally since 2014, including, TEDx (2016 & 2018), Deloitte's Horizon Conference, 2021, Economic Times Global Business Summit 2019,2023, KPMG Diversity Summit 2019, and Microsoft Accelerator 2018.
Some of his recent Electrical Engineering projects at Technical University, Eindhoven include i) designing multi-robot systems for search and rescue style operations for firefighters via high-level control system controllers to make robots cooperatively achieve a task for a company working with the Dutch military and police. ii) designing a wireless charging system for electric vehicles taking power from wind turbines and wireless charging coils on the road and car iii) designing mechatronics systems and building an electromagnetic launcher iv) model-based systems engineering for a factory line v) design and prototype build for a) a pillow for people with anxiety that plays music, vibrates and changes temperature to reduce stress b) autonomous robots with sensors and actuators to map unknown territory, collect samples and return to base c) rock-your-baby system on a cradle to swing according to heartbeat and volume of cry and dynamically adjust based on response
